I have always felt that I want to work one-on-one with people, listening to and helping them (you!) feel more healthy and less stressed.
This feeling led me to several false starts working in the Western medical world before I found the holistic route I’m on now. I enjoy working with my patients, talking about your thoughts and emotions as well as how your body feels, in order to help you regain an awareness of the connection between your mind and body.
I graduated from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2014 and have practiced in Roscoe Village since that fall, learning more about how I want to practice and what my patients are interested in experiencing. I perform cupping and gua sha in addition to acupuncture and herbal medicine and I love to educate anyone who wants to listen on the poetry of Chinese medicine.
In my free time I boulder, play the fiddle and the banjo in the local Old Time music scene, and love riding my bike around the city. If you’d like to get to know me better, please read my blog where I answer questions posed me by patients, or follow my Instagram for weekly images and thoughts about our bodies and the natural world.
If you and I work together, we are partners in improving how you feel in your body. We both will put in work and careful thought to the process, learning along the way.
Please write me with any questions or comments you might have.
